Beginner (6PM-6:45PM) Student can set up the chess board, is familiar with chess rules and understands checkmate & stalemate Advanced Beginner (7PM -7:45PM) Student is able to play entire game & checkmate opponent, understands piece relative values and is familiar with end game principles (role of king; pawn promotion)
